Episode #57 - Who Watches the Watchmen?

HBO has released their newest trailer for their upcoming Watchmen TV show, and we have a lot of questions about it.

For starters, we really want to know who has been clamoring for The Watchmen. We admit that we are biased as we did not like The Watchmen comic series, but considering the series was such a product of its time, how is any of it relevant today? Is it going to be pure political commentary? Do we really need the Watchmen to be that mouthpiece?

In addition, we want to know when it takes place. Is it after the movie? Is it after the comics? How many years after which one? What is the setting? Does it take place during Doomsday Clock? Is it separate from Doomsday Clock?

We have so many questions because the newest trailer released at San Diego Comic Con provides none of these answers.

Of course, the biggest question is whether either of us will watch it. What do you think about the upcoming HBO TV series?
