Episode #55 – Pour One Out for the DCU
It seems like it was only yesterday when Jen and I ranted on a podcast episode much like this one about how dumb we thought the DC Universe was going to be. But here we are, nearly a year later, and we’re mad about rumors that the DC Universe service is closing.
While it is true that it’s all a rumor, the facts that DCU canceled Swamp Thing before it even aired and they’ve been tight-lipped about a second season of Doom Patrol don’t leave our hopes high. We do want to appeal to anyone and everyone who thought about subscribing to DC Universe, please do so and enjoy some really great content. We’ve both been shocked at how great it all has been.
As for comics, well, Jen is going through quite the dry spell. It’s all on me to talk about what I have been reading. As usual, I’m so lost with many of them.
