Episode #50 – Let’s Talk DC Universe Doom Patrol
We’ve mentioned a few times that we are watching Doom Patrol on DC Universe, and we enjoy it immensely. It’s incredibly messed up, well written, and hilarious all at the same time. This week we take a bit of a deep dive into what we like about the show, what we don’t like, and where we think the show is going. We do get into heavy spoiler territory, though, so be prepared!
Then of course we discuss what we’ve been reading, which, sadly for Jen, didn’t include much. Hipster Island seems to be going on a slight vacation/hiatus. Also, the five weeks in March has spread out everyone’s subscriptions a little thin. I had quite a few to discuss, and I was not upset with DC this time. Jen is still stewing that none of my DC comics reference any of the shenanigans she’s experiencing in Justice League Dark.
